There are colors for vehicles called ';fleet colors';. These are usually nonmetallic. (no little sparkles) Solid white and solid black are two of the cheapest colors. Next are maroons and browns. Then blues and greens and so on up to RED. Red is one of the most expensive colors in automotive paints with the exception of specialty colors like Tri-Stage. This is paint that requires additional layers to produce. Why are rental cars nearly always white?
Funny i rent cars all the time i thought that alot of them were red.
i usually get other colors, but i guess cause white is one of the less-popular colors people don't want anymore for cars.
