How many kilometers before a rental car starts being worn out?

I have noticed that at around 10,000 kliks rental cars seemed to have faulty alignment, ravaged interiors, and a tendency to have exploding tires. Any other ideas out there?How many kilometers before a rental car starts being worn out?
That depends on the rental company and the people that rented the car. I know from personally being in the business, and renting cars, Most people don't treat them as nice as they do their own cars. With any vehicle regular maintenance is required to maintain the vehicle, Cost is always an issue with any company, most repairs are done in house, or addressed once there is a problem, Rather then doing preventative maintenance. I have found unless it is a safety issue, it won't be addressed until a customer calls to say they are broken down.
