Rental cars driving age at 21?

I wanna go on vacation sum where warm with palm tree (ex florida, cali, hawaii) but i also want 2 rent a car when i get there which states have driving age of 21 and up. Or which companies allow it. ThanksRental cars driving age at 21?
t is difficult to rent a car if you're under 25. However, some rental agencies will allow one to rent a car if you're under 25, providing that you pay an additional daily surcharge. For most agencies/states, the minimum age is 21, while a few may go as low as 18. If you can rent through an employer/group plan, you may also be able to rent. If you are on official military orders, you can probably rent if over 18, but if you're just on leisure travel/leave the usual rules typically apply.

http://www.bnm.com/uage.htm a good site to help you find such agencies and compare the surcharge rates in major cities, as is http://www.autorentalguide.com/car-renta鈥?/a>Rental cars driving age at 21?
I would go on line and go to all the car rental places to find out because it has changsd so fast that in every state it seems to be different and I dont know which ones do or dont but I do know there are some that will at 21 but they also charge more and make you buy the add on ins. which makes it even more costly I live in clearwater beach fl and I know of 3 places that are called rent a wreck it just the name they are good cars but there not brand knew maybe around 5 years old and they are alot cheaper and like I said the cars are nice just not brand knew if this is an area you might be coming to E-mail me and I will get more info my Email address is njfouche@yahoo.com good luck
Due to Insurance costs and liability I would venture that the age thingy is universal....meaning the law of the land.

I doubt in different states that age would make much difference....

Call a few of your local rental agencies like Enterprise, or Avis, and ask them. They will be pleasant and straight up with you about it.
All car rental companies will allow you to rent a car @ 21, its against the law for them not to, however they can boost the price so much to make it improbable for a young person to do it.

The only company that I know that does not charge extra for young drivers is Jolly Wheels. They are in serveral cities.

Some companies allow you to rent if you are under 25, but they limit your vehicle choices and sometimes charge extra fees. I know Budget Rent-A-Car will rent to younger drivers. Alamo also rents to drivers starting at 21 (for a $25/day fee). It also depends on the location you which to rent from. I hope this helps.
25 is the limit for most. Some will rent to those 21 to 25, but with a surcharge and restrictions as to what you can rent.

On a ';US Nationwide Level';, your best bet for 21-24 rentals is either with Thrifty at most locations or Dollar or Alamo at many locations.

See the link below for more.
alot of places will let you get a rental car at 21 now they just charge anywhere from 15-25 dollars extra if your under 25.
The driving age is 16 in most (if not all) states, but generally speaking you have to be 25 or older to rent a car.
you need to b 25 but some charge you more if ur under 25 but older than 21--- which is stupid
