I need a company that will rent a car to a 22-year-old without an extra fee. I'll be starting in Ohio and I want to turn the car back over to them in California. There is no rental car company that will rent to you with out the extra fee. It would be less expensive for you to fly or take a bus or train. Sorry. It kind of sucks at your age when you have to rent. I've been there too. With the price of gas these days the other options may be just as cost effective anyway.
