How are me and my boyfriend suppose to rent a car when you have to be 25? He is 23, you would think that would be old enough. Anyone have suggestions? Also does anyone know why this is. We are looking to go to san diegoRental cars????
Every rental car company have different rules.
The reason for the age limit is that rental car crashes by the 16 ~ 24 year-old crowd have risen to astronomical proportions.
To get around this, you can ask your or his parents to rent the car for you; that way they will be liable if you or your boyfriend get into an accident.Rental cars????
It's not possible to rent a car at that age. I believe it's due to insurance and age. Only thing I can think of is renting a U-Haul? J/k, take a plane and use taxi's. by the way you didn't mention where you're coming from, you may be able to even take a train.
