I don't want to pay the price the rental companies charge if I can avoid it, I also don't have cover with my credit card or auto insuranceAre there any insurance companies that sell CDW for rental cars?

In my research, I only found reference to ';some'; insurance companies including it in their policies, but they didn't say which ones. However, you couldn't buy it as a stand alone policy from an insurance company.
