Does anyone know about masterrental insurance benefits in regards to rental cars?

I got in an accident in my rental car and mastercard denied me. Iam not giving up, I plan to fight their decision.Does anyone know about masterrental insurance benefits in regards to rental cars?
Master Card is a credit card, like Visa and American Express ... they are not an Auto Insurance company.

Now they do offer some credit insurance, like if you pay for something with credit card, and it turns out to be a lemon, you can refuse payment through the card, until the lemon company makes good. This has nothing to do with a traffic accident.

If you have a personal car, and it has auto insurance, it may or may not also cover you when driving someone else's car or a rental car ... this is something you have to ask your auto insurance agent.

At the time that you took possession of the rental car, the rental place probably offered you some insurance policy. If you knew for sure what was covered by your personal auto insurance, you might have declined any duplication.

You may have shopped around to get the best deal for your personal auto insruance, and what comes with the rental place might not be as good a policy.

The time to get best deal on auto rental insurance is before you pick up the car. You can get a rider on your personal auto insurance to cover this, but it has to be signed sealed paid for before you start driving the rental car.
