Even though Acura and Honda are made by the same company, they are run by different executives. Those executives at Acura did not agree to the contract to fleet out their vehicles to rental companies.

Acura's are just Honda's with a different badge and cost thousands more.





Rental car companies don't care about ';flashing the Acura badge'; so they'd rather get the equal Honda and save the cash.

you'll find that nearly all rental companies buy cars in fleets. Because thy are buying so many cars many car producers will give them a discount. Sounds like Acura don't target fleet sales.
