Why do drug dealers use rental cars?

Why whenever a drug dealer needs to move drugs around, they always use a rental car?Why do drug dealers use rental cars?
If there's a drug bust, the vehicle that's used for transporting the vehicles will be impounded and sold, and the state gets the money. They don't want to lose their own cars, so they use rentals.Why do drug dealers use rental cars?
they use them so they are not reconized by those peirs they don't want to know they are doing it. They also use them in case they get caught.
without sounding racist.. the black community has a fixation with rental cars in general to begin with. Compound that with the fact that they know if they are caught with drugs in a vehicle that is OWNED by them they will more than likely lose the vehicle where it will be sold at auction. Another reason is so the drug deal can remain ';discreet';. you would never know a plain jane vehicle driving through would be so loaded down with dope, however if you see a escalade with 24's everyone says ';yep, he is dealing drugs';.. most of it is common sense.
A lot of drug arrests happen after a car is stopped for simple things like a taillight or headlight being out, a rental car pretty much prevents that.





Certain cars in certain areas immediately set off warning signs to the police, and draw attention. Rental cars are less suspicious.





When an officer behind a rental car runs the license plate, it comes back to the rental car company, not a name. The rental car offers initial anonymity.
